Frontier Airlines Adds New Service In Ten Cities Around The CountryDENVER – Starting this spring, Frontier Airlines will launch 10 new routes adding new service in 10 cities across the country. Cities receiving the new service include Austin, Texas; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago; Cincinnati; Cleveland; Minneapolis; Cleveland; New York; San Antonio; San Diego and Washington. Frontier is offering special introductory fares as low as $29* on these new routes as of today. With the WORKS, fares will be as low as $88.
The news markets include the following: Austin – Washington Dulles, Austin – San Diego, Chicago O*Hare – San Antonio, Cleveland – Charlotte, Cleveland – Houston IAH, Cleveland – Minneapolis, Cleveland – San Diego, Cincinnati – Minneapolis, Cincinnati – New York LaGuardia and Cincinnati – San Diego.
Customers can take advantage of Frontier*s bundled choices, the WORKS or the PERKS, containing all of Frontier*s most popular options for one low price. The WORKS is available at FlyFrontier.com at time of initial booking and includes one carry-on bag, one checked bag, best available seat including Stretch and Exit Row options, full refundability when canceled at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure, no change fees and priority boarding. The PERKS is available after booking and has the same options as the WORKS except the ability to change flights and refundability.

Introductory fares are available for travel April 21 through June 6, 2017 on specific days in select markets. Travel is valid Monday through Thursday and Saturday. Fares must be purchased by 11:59 pm Eastern time on Feb. 7, 2017. The following blackout date applies: May 29, 2017.
Fares are one way and do not require roundtrip purchase. Fare(s) shown includes all transportation fees, surcharges and taxes and are subject to change without notice. Seats are limited at these fares, and certain flights and/or days of travel may be unavailable.
Depending on the fare type purchased, nonrefundable tickets may be transferred for a fee of up to $75 or reissued for alternate flights for a fee of up to $99 as well as a possible fare increase. 26.02.2017. 20:41 FRONTIER AIRLINES APPOINTS BARRY L. BIFFLE AS PRESIDENT DENVER – Frontier Airlines today announced the appointment of Barry L. Biffle as president and chief executive officer of the airline. Biffle has also been named as a member of the airline*s Board of Directors.
Biffle has served as president of Frontier since July 2014 and has more than 20 years* industry experience. Biffle has held numerous airline senior executive and management roles with specific experience in turn-around situations and development of ultra-low cost carriers (ULCC).

Biffle also held several management positions with US Airways and AMR where he began his airline career. Biffle holds a bachelor*s degree from the University of Alabama.
05.06.2016. 07:50 Frontier Airlines Applies to U.S. Department of Transportation for Authority to Operate to CubaDENVER – March 3 - Frontier Airlines has applied to the DOT for authority to begin service between five cities in the United States and Cuba under the new arrangement that provides for the re-establishment of scheduled air services between the United States and Cuba.
Frontier has applied for the following routes: one daily nonstop flight between Denver and Havana, three daily nonstop flights between Miami and Havana, one daily nonstop flight between Miami and Santiago, four weekly nonstop flights between Miami and Camaguey, three weekly nonstop flights between Miami and Santa Clara, one weekly nonstop flight between Chicago O*Hare and Varadero and one weekly nonstop flight between Philadelphia and Varadero. With these new frequencies, Frontier would also offer one-stop service between Chicago and Santiago, Atlanta and Havana, Philadelphia and both Santa Clara and Camaguey and San Francisco and Havana. Frontier intends to use 180 seat A320 aircraft in these new markets offering Frontier*s Low Fares Done Right model offering great value.
**Our service would give Miami residents the most affordable options to visit Cuba because of our low fares,** said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president – commercial for Frontier Airlines. **Our non-stop from our Denver gateway would provide low-fare one-stop connections to Cuba from 14 destinations throughout the central and western United States as well.**
Havana is Cuba*s largest city and capital while Santa Clarais the capital city of the province of Villa Clara and is located in the middle of the province. Varadero and Santa Clara both provide access to Cuba*s beaches as well as rich cultural attractions. Sanitago is home to Cuba*s Afro-Cuban culture, including its colorful, month-long Carnival celebrations.
